For the Little Ones

Amanda and Eddie's flower girl and ring bearer had to be the cutest thing I've seen in a long time.
I couldn't create something for everyone else in the bridal party and forget these two little ones. Jaxon and Madalyn are almost the same age. I made both of them a baby quilt when they were born.
These two are waiting to attend rehearsal dinner festivities with the friends and families of Amanda and Eddie.

Glitter iron on vinyl is not the easiest to work with, but I'm happy these were problem free.
Working online to create the design.
I wanted to put this dull picture of different t-shirts here because if someone looks at this page they need to know that all shirts of the same size and fabric are not created equal. The girl's shirt on the top is from a private boutique, the boy's shirt on the bottom is from Walmart, but a Garanimal brand. I trust both of them but look at the difference in size even though they are marketed as the same 3T size. I had serious worries if these shirts would fit the little ones. When D day came, they looked and fit great.
What was really weird about this, is that Eddie's and Amanda's friend, Desiree Chavez, had the same sentiment and made the little one, almost identical shirts. This was cool.  It was decided that they would wear mine to rehearsal dinner and Desiree's to the reception.

The moral of this post? It doesn't matter what they wear, as long as they have fun.

Lessons Learned:
1. If it is imperative you have the right size garment for what you need to make, get measurements instead of just a size.  Manufactures of clothing do not collaborate and agree on what that size should be.
2. Let the kids, be kids. They grow up so fast.
3. Creative and thoughtful minds think alike. :)

Sincerely,
